1. Payment Methods
Payment for services rendered must be made by EFT or Cash on completion. All payments must be made in the local currency ZAR.
2. Payment Due Dates
Payment is due immediately on presentation of invoice after completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. For ongoing maintenance contracts, monthly payments will be due on the 1st of each month unless alternative arrangements have been made with the office.
3. Late Payments
Any overdue payments will incur a late fee of R1500+vat plus a fixed rate of 24% per annum, calculated daily and compounded monthly until final payment has been made. In the event of late payments, Fixit Maintenance reserves the right to suspend services until payment is received.
4. Deposit Requirements
A non-refundable deposit of 60% is required upon accepting a fix price quotation. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work or as per the agreed payment schedule.
5. Invoices
Invoices will be issued upon completion of services or according to the agreed schedule. The client will be provided with an itemised invoice detailing the services rendered, including any materials or parts used.
6. Additional Costs
Any additional costs incurred during the provision of services, such as materials, parts, or emergency call-out charges, will be added to the final invoice. These will be agreed upon in advance or communicated as they arise.
7. Refunds and Adjustments
Refunds or adjustments to invoices will only be made in the event of an error or a dispute that is resolved in the client’s favour. Any such request must be made within 7 days of receiving the invoice.
8. Termination and Cancellation
If the client wishes to cancel services, a written notice must be provided at least 24 hours in advance. Please see our Cancellation Policy.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes related to payments or services provided should be raised within 7 days of the invoice date. Disputes will be resolved through mediation, arbitration, or claims court.
10. Force Majeure
Fixit Maintenance will not be held responsible for delays or failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen events.
11. Liability and Warranty
Fixit Maintenance provides a warranty on services rendered for a period of 3 months. Any defects or issues arising within this period will be addressed at no additional cost, provided they are due to the company’s fault.
12. Right to Amend Terms
Fixit Maintenance reserves the right to amend these payment terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the client in writing.
By engaging in services with Fixit Maintenance, the client agrees to the terms and conditions as outlined above.
